Dear City Manager,

I recently read where the World Health Organization, as well as the United States Environmental Protection Agency, among others, have declared noise to be a potent pathogen with the potential to destroy the physical, social, and psychological health of those who are forcibly exposed to it.

I wonder what the city's stand is on noise. Can you please tell me if our city also regards chronic noise as a dangerous pathogen?
